"2010 has brought an increasing interest in
cosmetic procedures and skin rejuvenation" Dr
Sue Uren reports. "This re ects a growing trend in
the Australian population."
Prior to this publication, another information meeting
will be held on Saturday the 20th February. These
meetings have been a great success , allowing people
to be educated about the Clinic and to ask questions
about any products that interest them.
Dr Uren and her aesthetician, Maggie Mulready,
are having great results with all the procedures and
products they have to o er.
Dr Uren performs all the injectables -- Botox and non-
permanent gel llers.
Maggie has quite a few techniques available to her
for hair removal, treatment of capillaries, di use redness
and rosacea and pigmentation.
One of the most exciting and popular new products
is the Obagi skin care range which is giving brilliant
results in skin brightness, texture and reduced
pigmentation. The Clinic also uses Priori and MD
Maggie is also expert in the use of
a VPL machine -- a variable pulsed
light- that is less painful than a laser
and has no "down time": i.e. no
A useful instrument Maggie also
uses is the Omnilux machine, an
ultraviolet light treatment for acne
and skin rejuvenation designed by a
physicist at Manchester University.
All the products available make for a rejuvenated,
fresh look that is still appropriate for age.
Also at the Clinic is Chloe Torterella, nutritionist and
naturopath, who has an expanding practice , advising
on nutrition and bio-identical products for health, well
being and weight loss.
Dr Ros Bresnahan, who has vast experience with
mental health and relaxation techniques to help us
cope with the typical day to day stresses which we all
have in our lives, is also at the Clinic on a weekly basis.
Enquiries for all these ser vices can be made through
the secretaries at the Clinic. n
