Dr Sue Uren held an information evening at her
practice on the 18th November that she advertised
The theme of the night was "Skin Rejuvenation,
Healthy Ageing, Natural Therapy and Nutrition".
Presenting together with Sue was Maggie Mulready,
medical aesthetician, and Chloe Torterella, nutritionist
There was a good response to the invitation and the
content of the presentation stimulated much interest
and many questions.
"It was a great opportunity for people who have
wondered about skin rejuvenation and/or healthy
ageing to come along and pick our brains" Dr Uren
said. "Having the bonus of Chloe's extensive training
and experience in naturopathy and nutrition gave
another essential element to Maggie's and my
presentation -- how to look after our inner health. We
are nding having Chloe as part of our team provides
a natural complement to the things that Maggie and I
are doing. Feeling good on the inside and the outside
-- now who wouldn't enjoy that!"
Light refreshments were served and plenty
of opportunities to talk privately with all three
presenters were available.
In last month's "Snapshot" Dr Uren brie y outlined
the treatments available at her clinic.
She and Maggie have been delighted with the
new skin care range they are now carrying. The
Obagi range has only recently been launched in
Australia after being available in the USA for about
15 years. It is designed to rejuvenate the skin by
reducing pigmentation, turning over dead skin cells
and providing a vehicle for the deep deposition of
antioxidants into the skin.
The results have been very impressive. Maggie
and Sue have been using the range now for about 6
weeks and have been very convinced by the results.
Patients have also noticed signi cant improvement
in skin quality within a couple of weeks. n
Another information session will be held
on Saturday the 30th January from 10.30am
until 12 midday. RSVP by 27th January.
