Authentic Italian food made with love
and tenderness in a family-friendly
atmosphere is the key to the success of
Café Rosso. Sebastian Petrocitto manages to
keep the crowds in his busy café satis ed by
ensuring his food is made from the nest local
and imported Italian ingredients.
All products are chosen for their authenticity and lack
of chemical or additives.
Chef Mathew Schwarze's attention to detail is
obvious in both the preparation and presentation.
The versatile menu is packed with mouth-watering
dishes such as Bucatini Alla Matriciana -- a crispy pork
cheek, sautéed with tomato llets and chilli.
The seemingly simple Spaghetti al Gamberi is
deceptively intricate and comprises of fresh prawns
served with a spicy tomato sauce.
The crowd pleaser is the Batuta di Tonno -- diced raw
tuna served on a bed of organic cannelloni beans,
lemon and Sutton Forest olive oil.
Meanwhile pizza slices are on display and available
for those wanting something quick and delicious to
take home or eat.
The base of the pizza is stretched to two metres
before baking, creating a wafer- thin crust. Each pizza
o ers a unique combination of toppings, with the
rocket, prosciutto, mozzarella, and shaved parmesan
being the most popular.
Completing the wonderful dining package is the Café
Rosso sta who go out of their way to please and
