Winter is coming to a close and springs bud burst is nearly
upon us! Levels of activity are always high at this time of
year and 'Stones Restaurant' at Eling Forest is certainly no
exception. Mark and Megan Stone have brought a new lease
of life, like a breath of fresh air to Eling Forest Winery, and the
changes are nothing short of amazing, among the o ering
breakfast on the weekends and traditional Sunday roast to
the sumptuous afternoon tea which is a must do, showcasing
Marks experience gained from working for Lenôtre in Paris.
If you're looking for a great lunch spot during the week,
'Stones' have a light lunch on Thursday and Friday using fresh
locally sourced produce. The cellar door is also well worth a
visit with the addition of a boutique providores range where
there is the option to relax, have a co ee and a bite to eat
and browse over the range of wine inspired products for that
perfect gift. n
